I'm Chetana Dabbiru from India, a professional Health Psychologist completed my post graduation i.e., 5 years Integrated Masters in Health Psychology with specialization in clinical and behavioral medicine from Central University of Hyderabad along with the internships in Global Hospitals, Kumudini Devi Hospice, Sparsh Hospice, and MNJ. Also I'm a Certified Professional Psychologist in Substance Use Disorders and Psychotherapeutic treatments. I have 6+ years of experience as a professional Psychologist. I worked in an International School where I used to observe the behaviours of children and counsel the parents if the children were identified with psychological or developmental disorders by psycho educating the parents and redirecting them to the concerned professional who has expertise in clinical setup. I worked in Nspira Management Services Private Limited as a Psychologist where Narayana Educational Institutions was our client. I use to conduct group sessions for adolescent students to help them cope with adjustment issues, sense of belongingness, deal with their stressors, self esteem, concentration etc. I used to take group sessions for parents, staff etc on adolescent mental health and positive parenting. I have experience in handling the critical cases such as suicidal, depression, etc. I worked in Brandix Apparel India Private Limited as a Psychologist where I handled different types of cases of women who were struggling with many problems such as family issues, marital issues, financial issues, work related issues, relationship issues, anger issues, suicidal ideations, depression, sexual harassment and homosexuality etc., by giving appropriate therapies such as Guided Imagery, Mindfulness meditation, Anger management techniques, safety plan, psychoeducation, CBT etc wherever required while helping them to cope with their problems through Psychological Counseling. I was also a Preceding officer in POSH (Prevention Of Sexual Harassment) committee at Brandix as part of my JD. I worked with Truworth Health Technologies Private Limited as a Counselling Psychologist for an MNC (Hyderabad). Individual sessions and Group sessions were given to the employees to improve their resilience while helping them to cope with their Personal & Professional problems such as Relationship issues,Suicidal thoughts,Work Performance,Work pressure,Transition periods in work and personal life,work shifts, etc through counseling.
